I did however just burn 19 hours of song ideas on some cds in the meantime, I found some extremely old burned cds with music on them that were totally scratched and beat up from atleast 15/16 years ago that still played so hey thats pretty good haha. Other wise the blu ray players will just play dvds and cds. I know on amazon in the reviews of all the blu ray burners and if you google "playing blu rays on Macs", the common understanding seems to be Macs dont play blu rays even with a blu ray player, it seems usually, you still have to download a separate program to actually read the blu rays, kinda like you have to get a separate program to burn them aswell, like toast.
