The Shot-Online charity event has been held annually since 2006 to remember a former player who passed away from ALS (commonly known as Lou Gehrig’s disease). All proceeds are being donated to the Driving 4 Life organization to benefit its ALS Therapy Development Institute and ALS research efforts. In addition to the $1,417 donated for each player who participated in the event, the company also donated additional funds to provide a total donation of $2,000.
